The receipt prints but none of the ESC/P codes activate.

I dont see the codes being printed (I do when set to TEXT, so I know they are being sent)

print @(WIDEON$): does not print wide (ignored)



the printer definitions have \0E for wide begin





My main issue is more the "Draw Open" and the "cutter" need to work.



This was all working in AREV3.12 BUT with a parallel printer port (Same printer)

Windows Printer test page cuts and opens drawer.



Any ideas on where I should be looking for settings,  in maybe window10

Just displays them - did on purpose to prove they were actually being sent

Yes and RAW is the only one that will print.

[b]No[/b] control code action and [b]no[/b] control code print display 



That was on clients's working arev3.12 receipt printer.



I just got a cheap one for testing on my PC and am seeing the same thing.

Tried "PDISK c:\temp\receipt.txt" before running the sale form that prints the receipt so I could see the actual characters that are sent. then "PDISK PRN" BUT no file was created and the print went to the printer.



Looks like I have some nasty issues.

All working now after changing single char codes to ones starting \1B - did not have resort to direct_print.
