So in the case where revparam, oinsight.exe and oengine.exe reside in c:\socsoft\revsoft\oinsight then access to data in c:\socsoft\revsoft\oinsight\data\yoisdata would utilise UD3; BUT data in c:\socsoft\yoisdata would not? ---- === At 29 SEP 2003 12:13PM Pat McNerthney wrote: === Charlie, As I understand it, the UD3 traverses all the paths from the .lh/.ov file up and take the settings from the first revparam it finds? Correct. So in the case where revparam, oinsight.exe and oengine.exe reside in c:\socsoft\revsoft\oinsight then access to data in c:\socsoft\revsoft\oinsight\data\yoisdata would utilise UD3; Correct again! BUT data in c:\socsoft\yoisdata would not? Wrong on this one though. Whenever the first file in a new directory location is opened, the UD3 searches for a revparam file from that location. So what you need to do is also put a revparam file in c:\socsoft\yoisdata. Pat ---- === At 30 SEP 2003 09:39AM Charlie Markwick wrote: === Thanks Pat I think that's what I meant.
