Is it single-byte, multi-byte (Microsoft mbcs), or .... Is this Windows NT? What version of Windows is it? Are you acquainted with the use of the character range 250-255 by OpenInsight? These characters are reserved for use as delimiters. If the Chinese characters are using that range, it could cause problems. Also, if the character set is mbcs, it could cause problems. Lastly, in the 3.6 release we provide a 2-way character map between the presentation and processing that may be able to solve the first of these two issues.
