SELPOS sets/gets the cells which are currently selected in the edit table.  If you have one cell selected then SELPOS and CARETPOS will contain the same value.  In an edit table that allows multiple selections of rows, SELPOS will return the column and an @vm-delimited array of row numbers that are selected, and CARETPOS indicates the particular item that has the focus.
