Hello AREV fans,
I have a routine that calls TIME() within a loop to see when a specified amount of time has passed.
The problem is that it hoards the CPU at around 30-32% and eventually (after about 12 seconds) gets so HOT that it has to turn on the fan. This cannot be good for the CPU.
I am wondering if there is a better way? Is there a way to NO, or very little processing, for seconds, minutes, or hours?
Robert.
