If all you want to do is navigate to a website then you just pass the URL to shellExecute - it will take care of finding the browser program and loading it. Does this work for you? If not then the issue is something specific to your workstation as all of the ShellExecute methods in the system are just very thin wrappers around the OS-supplied functionality.
