I have an mdi frame and I open a child and read a record. Now If i use the system menus to delete the record (F7 also I guess) it works as expected, give a warning message and on OK, deletes the row. But if when the record comes up and, in this case there is a multi-value of other records displayed, and the user click on one and a second mdi child form opens with the selected record displayed (same table) and then uses the system menu and file delete row, the user expects the row in the form last called and on top to be deleted. But...HO HO, the original row, in the form underneath the displayed form is deleted! Fortunatly, my systems saves deleted rows and offers the user a utility to retrieve them....saved my butt!! But, what is the best way to avoid this situation? arcs@arcscustomsoftware.com [url=http://www.arcscustomsoftware.com]ARCS, Inc.
