==== RDK problem with Server 2008 (OpenInsight 32-Bit) ====

Customer updated server to SBS 2008. Now the RDK produced on my laptop development system requires a revparam file before being able to deploy to customer system. I do not require the revparam file for any other client. If the relevant upgrade folder is copied to the C drive (on the server) instead of a mapped network drive (on the server) then the revparam file is not required.
Why does the incremental deployment now require a revparam file (if run from a network drive) and was not required before the upgrade (2008). Also, if this is required then should the deployment include the revparam file.
My normal remote (RDP) update procedure is to copy the deployment folder from my local c drive to a shared network folder, log into OI on the server then use this to upgrade the client.
Running OI 9.2 and UD 4.6.0.0
TIA

What behavior brought you to the conclusion that a revparam file was required before being able to deploy to a customer server? Something isn't adding up.
What is your local laptop development system and custom system network driver? Execute netdrv.exe to find out.
Is the share on the customer's server a DFS (Distributed File System) share?
