This is an interesting case and I'm just trying to understand what triggers it. The client has been running OI 7.01 on a small network using the Universal-Lite on a Dell Server since Nov 2005. All was fine until we tried to upgrade the site to OI7.2.1 this week. 



After we upgraded the client from OI7.01 to OI7.21, OI would not run. We would get an error message that the application failed to intialize. As you know, when going from 7.01 to 7.21, you must take many steps, e.g., upgrade OI7.01 to 71 then 7.11 then 7.2 then 7.21.



We have ascertain that things failed after upgrading from 7.1 to 711.



My questions is, if anyone care to take a guess, is 1:) why was the system okay at 7.01? 2) Why was it okay at 7.1? and 3) What made it finally get "DEPPED" at 7.11?



I'm just starting to adjust the client's system using the references found on this site. Boy I hope they help otherwise I'm going to have to bug you guys some more .
