We are converting our Arev system and use an automation program. It has no problem grabbing the DOS window but the Arev32 window appears blank.
Is there a way of an external program grabbing the current Arev32 display and if not can this be exposed somehow?
Not sure I understand what you want, but to get screen grabs of the images I use the free PrintScreen utililty for Windows, by Gadwin Systems. You can capture the desktop, window, or draw a rectangle and place the image to a printer, image file, or the clipboard.
That is, what do you mean "automation program"?

We're currently using AutoIt windows automation software to control the running of batches in Arev. However it can't 'see' the contents of the Arev32 window to recognise that things have happened so that it can respond with the correct keystrokes.
