I am trying to install the Universal Driver 3.0.0.2 on a customer network, Novell 5.1 SP5. The Universal Driver appears to install correctly on the server. No error messages are reported during the installation process.
My problem is that the LH3START command consistently fails whilst loading LH3SRVC.NLM and abends the server, requiring a reboot. RCL4 and LH3SRVR appear to load successfully.
Any ideas anyone?

David,
For the Universal Driver, you need to be at either NW 5.1 SP6 or NW 6 SP3.
Hope it helps,
Kevin
Kevin,
Thanks for the information. My customer will try and obtain a later support pack. However, this requirement is not stated in the manual accompanying the UD 3.0.0.2 CD and should be. It would have saved me four hours of wasted time!

David,
Sorry about your wasted time. We normally do not list the versions supported in the manual, but instead refer people to the website. Two of the latest postings to the Network Product section of the website (one dated August 2003) state that you need to be at NW 5 SP6 or NW 6 SP3. The necessary files the UD uses to run on IP in Netware are not available until those versions.
