I just upgraded one of our systems to 32bit with the latest version of OIPI. I tried several reports. One of the reports hangs the system after I select the printer to print to. Right clicking twice on OENGINE at the bottom of the screen unfreezes the system. I hate to ask the user to do that. Another user had reported the same problem. I have finally dupliated it. HELP

In your OI directory is OIPI.exe still there? If it is, delete it and make sure that OIPI32.exe is there.
Also, does your application have the START32 and STOP32 messages embedded correctly?
Thanks-
Mike
This application is not using OIPI.
OK, Sorry. Based upon you initial post it appeared that it was.
Which version of OpenInsight are you using? This can be found in the engine by clicking on the Engine Info button.
Thanks
OEngine 4.0.2. The user is getting tired of right clicking on OENGINE to unfreeze.
Download and try 4.0.3 - we made some changes to printing.
Thanks-
Mike
Mike,
What's the chance of modifying OIPI32 so you don't have to close down OIPI after making a change in the default printer for the default printer to take immediate effect?
Any questions, let me know. Again thanks for OI32. Great product.
Thanks,
Ray
I will try that.
