We have a client receiving FS477 if REVPARAM is set to SERVERONLY=TRUE.

Windows 98

Novel 5.0 Sp5

CLIB.NLM ver 5.01b

FILES=200

Frame Type 802.2

LHIPXTSR /P being called and loaded

All Protocols loaded with IPX as default and first

was on client32 3.1 with a service pack, removed and now on 3.0

Ran modules at server and 5.0 NLM is loaded, and we reset server

NLM 1.5a is loaded, unloaded and load again

All files owned by Admin and flagged read, write, shareable.

Thoughts anyone…

When you say Client32 v. 3.0, 3.01 had a problem a while back and the fix was to set extended memory to zero in the shortcut properties. We have Client32 v. 3.1 available on our website here. This is the Win95/98 client we recommend for now.

Also, did you force frametypes in both your IPX/SPX-compatible protocol and IPX 32-bit protocol for Novell settings? See the NLM Tips/Troubleshooting KB article for more detail.
