I have an interesting situation here. An OI application is installed on a local drive of a workstation that is not in a network environment. As soon as the application is ran it locks up the entire computer system and will not even respond to a CTRL+ALT+DELETE. It is a Windows 98 system with 32 meg of ram on an Intel Board with a possible celeron processor. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Roland,
I can't think of a magic bullet for this one but here are a couple of things I would try out:
1. Try to launch OINSIGHT.EXE without any parameters. This will test to see if OI is causing the problem or some of the application components being loaded are causing the problem.
2. Try to launch OENGINE.EXE by itself and see if this causes any problems. Click on the EngineInfo button and see if the information displayed is meaningful.
3. Re-install the client drivers from the CD to rule out corrupted DLL's.
I assume you've reinstalled the application as well, if not then try that.
