We are going through a data conversion. I need to export 5 tables out of arev , they are: Employee_master, Client_master, AR_Master, work_orders, employee_work_orders. My arev experiance is less than adequate. Can any one Suggest an easy way to do this.

Ron,
Depending on the structure of your tables you have 2 main options.
1. If the tables are of a basic format and don't have mutiv-valued fields you can use the Data Export facility provided within Arev. This can be found under the Utilities/Export menu. (Assuming you are running Arev3.x)
2. If you have a more complex data structure then you will probably want(need) to write a routine to export the data for you into a normalised format. There are many developers on this forum who would be more than happy to help you.

We have a do-it-yourself utility for $250 that normalizes multi-value fields and exports to a number of different data formats. It also has an auditor that checks your database and produces several different record layouts. Download a trial copy from http://exorsys.com/revelation.htm.
