Problem with OIPI (OpenInsight Specific)

I am using OIPI on several workstations. All work fine but one. That workstation displays the print preview window, but no text ever appears in the window. So, if I am printing 10 pages, it just displays 10 blank pages on that workstation. All the other workstations work fine though. What is wrong with the one workstation? Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

Did you try doing a Re-Install of OIPI from that workstation? Sometimes the client install routine fails to update some local-disk DLL's.

Eric,
In addition to Don's comments, is this workstation defaulting to a different printer than the other workstations? Some of the OIPI messages (e.g. TEXTXY and TABLE) won't work with certain printers. Usually these are inkjet printers.

Eric,
I and lots of clients use OIPI but we've never seen that problem. But I remember there was a posting once…. (searching) ….ah! Here it is! From one of the two guys who've already responded to your query. And a reply from the other one. Seems to be about a different possible reason than they've mentioned already, so here it is: .

Oystein,
Thanks for that reference. I have to talk to my client, but I believe that she did mention that she was using an HP 2100 printer. Sounds to me like the that may take care of this problem. I'll repost if I still have a problem.
Thanks to everyone that responded!

This printer causes problems with textxy and even SList. I believe the solution is to set the resolution to 600dpi instead of the default 1200 dpi.
Please let us know if you solves the problem.

Often using the PostScript or PCL5e driver rather than PCL6 does the trick.
