I was under the impression that if a message were formatted like this:

result=msg2(@window,"hi this is the message")

then it would pop up in the middle of the form so the

user wouldn't think the system was hung up.

In oi16 I did use: result=msg2("","hi this is the message")

I've done massive replace and recompiled all the procedures

and forms, and the messages still sometimes appear on the bottom

of the screen. Is there anything else that can be done?

I think the forms weren't recompiled completely.

I think I've got it now.
