The question is: how do I do that? After reading various postings here, there appears to be some problems associated with a full deployment which leaves me wondering what the best method is. This application will be a runtime that will be bumped to multi-user with a Server Deployment Pack. Any suggestions?

The best method would still be the full deployment. We can walk you through any errors if they occur.
We'd suggest running SCAN_REP on your repository to remove any potential problems before deploying.
