For controls that display more than one selectable item, it's nice when you can select consecutive items without having to click each single one.

If one enables multiple row selection on an edit table (by changing the STYLE property), the edit table gets that desirable property (ugh). One can select multiple consecutive lines by dragging the mouse with the mouse button pressed.

But what about list boxes? A list box can also be multi-selection enabled, but can one also give it that nice drag-select property? (And, yes, I really need this.)

Hi Oystein,

To get the 'click and drag' functionality in a listbox, check the 'Extended Selection' property in the ListBox Properties window.

Carl,

Thanks!

So that's what 'Extended Selection' is! Is that the standard term for what I called "drag-selection"?
