Kim,

Are these two computers running Win95? IF they are, I know of one thing that causes this problem. Make sure that your frame type is NOT set to Auto. In Control Panel - Network, double-click on

"IPX/SPX-compatible protocol". Then select the "Advanced" tab. Select the "frame type" property and in the "value" field set the specific frame type (Ethernet 802.2 if you are running newer netware). This

will hopefully take care of it. I have seen this same error with FS472 and the frame type was the problem. Selecting a specific frame type also reduces network traffic as the workstation does not have to check the server for every frame type each time the workstation is booted. The frame type can also be set in the NET.CFG file if you are using NWCLIENT on DOS based machines.
