It's been a while but ..

If you don't have the disk that came with your original bump diskette, you should start REVG in SYSPROG.

Look to see if you have a file called NETWORK.DRIVERS. Inside this are various flavors of $RTP52 … with the lan driver name. What you need to do is save your current $RTP52 away and then copy the record from Lan Drivers. This record should be in SYSOBJ. To switch to tye byte range driver:

COPY SYSOBJ $RTP52 TO:$RTP52.BAK

COPY NETWORK.DRIVERS $RTP52.BR (O) TO:(SYSOBJ $RTP52

Log out and then restart GREV to see the driver change

Note … Before you do this, backup your GREV directory!!!

Set Capslock ON

From DOS Enter:

REV SYSPROG

At TCL Enter:

UPDATE.DRIVERS

Select DOS 3.1 Byte range driver

Is the DOS byte range driver the same as Generic DOS 3.1 Network?

Yes. Sorry - I don't have REVG to look at so I'm operating from distant memory.
