I am trying to transfer forms and reports from one development pc to another. I check-out the entities from pc 1 to a floppy but cannot get the entities from the floppy to pc 2.

I go thru "new check-out" on the development menu. (The two other choices do not work.) I click on "from", set the check-out path as "A:", select the check-out entities. I get a check-out error saying that all the entities are either locked or "lock error". The synopsis is, in part, "entity is check out and could not be locked".

How can I fix all this so I can transfer these files in to pc 2?

From a knowledge base article CheckIn/CheckOut Tip

If you have an entity that is "checked out" and you can't check it back in you need to manually clear the Check out flag. The easiest way to do this is from the system monitor. The command syntax is:

RUN REPOSITORY "CHECKIN" , "full entity name" , 1 , 0
