Save a Record (OpenInsight Specific)

I'm having a problem when I try to save a record. I first noticed it in my application. I could click on save row till the cows came home and I would still be asked to save the record when I would exit. The only way to exit is to click on "No". So I opened the System Editor and opened a record. I made some changes and got the following System Editor error window when I tried to save the record:
SYS 1004: Error loading dictionary item "ACCT_GUAR_XREF"
I clicked on the OK button and checked the dictionary of the table. As I suspected, there is no "ACCT_GUAR_XREF". At one time there was such an item but not for a while.
Does anybody have any ideas on how I can clean this up?

It sounds like indexing. This dictionary item with the XREF on the end is a field OI creates to handle a cross reference index. Pieces of the index may be missing. You may want to remove the index and put it back on to "clean" things up. Then try your form again. If you need to manually remove the pieces of the index then get tech documnent #56 from RTI.

Thanks for your help. Since there is no XREF listed in the DATABASE I would have to remove pieces. Where do I find tech document # 56? If necessary, I am a Works subscriber.

We are part of the works program also and we have technical support. Tech support faxed it to us. You could provide your fax number here and hope they see it and fax it to you or you could call them and request the fax. It maybe on this site somewhere but I am not sure.
