The client uses Lantastic ver 8 witn Windows 98 running 5 users of Arev ver2.12 - what network drivers are required? Has anyone had success with Lantastic as the network.

You would use the Generic DOS 3.1 byte-range driver that shipped with AREV 2.12. You'll have to put the AREV.EXE on a PC where there is no AREV user session active. This will ensure locking operates OK.

I haven't tried your exact set-up, but this was the case when earlier versions of Lantastic (eg 6 & 7 which I have used) & AREV 2.12 operated.

I'm surprised that you can't merely use Win 98 without any Lantastic at all present. It's inbuilt peer-peer file & print sharing facilities would be commensurate with Lantastic, I'd imagine…but then again I'm unaware of your exact requirements.
