Stephen,

Thanks for your reply.

I had checked the files size and date, it is the same as indicated by yourself.

The incident occurred in all workstations.

By the way, the application was developed in Chinese Win 95 using 32-bit designer. We did not add any Win95 Controls in the application. We had created some LSS files, and these files had been included in our scripts. Could this be the cause of the GPF error?

When I debug the application in 32-bit designer, VIP prompt for "_LN069.SBX". Is this a LSS file? What is the purpose of this file?

We purchased VIP Works 2.2, there isn't any 16-bit designer. We have only 16-bit runtime.

The application need to be released by tomorrow. Kindly assist us.

Thank you.

Hello Wilfred,

Our development staff believes the _LN069.SBX originates from Lotus Notes and appears to be a 16 bit Notes component, which is not referenced or distributed with any ViP U.S. version. Therefore, based on the information you have supplied, It seems like the error is being generated because of …

1. The LSS files that may be referencing something specific to the 32 bit windows environment. Which causes the crash when run on a 16 bit windows platform.

2. International Windows versions running ViP have not been tested or supported since Lotus ViP version 1.1. Therefore, it is quite possible that something in the configuration of you deployed applications is generating the error.

For a more detailed explanation, I would suggest that you contact our Customer Service Department at 1-617-577-0300 to renew your expired technical support contract.

Hope this helps,
