We recently upgraded from NLM1.12 to NLM1.5 and immediately began
experiencing repetitive RTP57a, "not enough string space" errors.
Does anyone know if this is happening to anyone else who has upgraded?
And is there anything that can be done to eliminate the messages?
TIA, Jim

Jim,
String space errors are usually dealing with memory. How are you launching arev? Are you using /x/m4096(4megs of EMS) switches arev.exe . Also is your machine set up for expanded memory? What type of OS are you using?

We are running win95 workstations on a novell network. The PIF's
are not set to the m4096. I believe I changed it a while back because
I read somewhere that in Win95 it was unnecessary. Is this true?
Thanks for your feedback, Jim.

Jim,
You should be using the /m4096 switch. Check the EMS settings in your memory tab for your shortcut it should be set to 4096 as well.
