Expanded memory in Windows 2000 (AREV Specific)

BTW in our cases, upgraded Windows 2000 would not enable EMM no matter what we did; a clean installation of Win 2K solved the problem.

A client of ours had problems not being able to configure expanded memory using Win 2000 on Compaq DeskPro EN Series workstations. Expanded memory was ok with Win 2000 on other hardware, and it was ok on that hardware with Win 98, but not with Win 2000. An upgrade of the chipset on the motherboard did solve the problem though.
