I have been doing some consulting work for a company using AREV 1.1on a PC that had a hard drive problem. I just transfered AREV from the bad PC with a bad HD to another PC. AREV still runs on the original PC, but everytime I try to run it on the new PC I get ERRMSG 0 0 $RTP2 Missing from SYSOBJ file. They still have the original disks, but were unable to find a users guide so I can't figure out what I need to do to fix this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Make a backup of the REVBOOT directory (the one with
AREV.EXE in it) on the non-working AREV system.
If there is a file called REVBOOT.OLD in this directory,
you can try copying this over the REVBOOT file from DOS.
If this doesn't work, install to a clean PC path the AREV disks. Then you can DOS copy the freshly installed REVBOOT file (in DOS this is
called REVBOOT) over the bad copy. This file may contain
any network bumps (ie. user licenses) so you may have to
reapply the bumps, as the fresh AREV will only be
good for one user at a time.
Hope this helps.
