Netware 6 & AREV (Networking Products)

Seems to work OK with AREV 2.12 3.12. Some issues relating to Netware clients (particularly in Win2K desktops), but otherwise seems to work. There have been some performance issues. You might search for this topic.

After working out the configuration (network driver, etc.), they have been running fine on both AREV and OI for about two or three months.
However, from what I get from the guys at REV, I am not recommending upgrading to Novell 6 to our clients. It seems that Novell (the company) is not working well with Rev in working out an NLM that uses TCP/IP. Since IPX/SPX is an almost obsolete protocol, this is counterproductive. So, I am recommending that our clients that are on Novell switch to Windows servers if they are going from one of the no-longer-supported Novell platforms.
On another note, I cannot remember a time when I had a GFE on any of our NT/Windows 2000 clients, but this has been a recurring problem (as well as AREV/OI indexing issues) on Novell networks.
