Paul,
What is "SAGE LINE 50"? Knowing this will allow us to provide a more specific answer. However, there is virtually no system that you won't be able to interface with, one way or another, as long as you know the format SAGE LINE 50 requires or is capable of importing.

Sage Line 50 is the biggest selling small business accounts package in the UK.
Sage are the Microsoft of Accounting Software, if they can't compete they buy. A reported user base of 80,000 users in Europe.
Anyway, there is a standard import routine that Sage has that will work with Arev. (not that I've done it myself mind)
Check with the Sage manual, it will advise on the structure to use when updating the various ledgers. I know its crap with the purchase ledger and not too bad with sales and stock.
All you have to do is write export routine in csv format and you can read it in.
