Rev 3.12 and NLM 1.5 is running OK on the Novell 4.11 Network.

If I move it to another drive and try to login

AREV INSTALL /X

So I can change the driver, and run a test with out NLM driver

I get the following :

Linear Hash IPX Driver - REVMEDIA Open Error : FS477

REVPARAM file specifies server only access mode.

unable to open boot media map.

Any ideas how can I get in there on the server or

local drive that IS NOT running NLM.

Please help.

Thanks.

I suspect that there may be more than one Revparam file or you haven't followed Andrew's advice.

Also you will need to login as AREV LANPACK to easily change network driver not INSTALL. The two different users access the same application (SYSPROG) but by default load different menus.

Dave,

The REVPARAM (specified ServerOnly=1) file should normally be in the AREV folder and in all subdirectories beneath it when running the NLM with the IPX Adv. NetWare driver.

If you'd like to get into ARev without it, you need only to you change the REVPARAM file in your AREV/root folder (the others may be left alone for test purposes, if you wanted to keep the non-IPX Adv. NetWare driver then switch all REVPARAM files as so) to ServerOnly=0. If you do this you should have no problem changing your network driver by Tony's instruction.
