Foxpro Files (Import and Bond) (AREV Specific)

While many of the files can be accessed through both the the Dbase Import and the Dbase Environmental Bond, a few of the ones I need produce an error message (file not in Dbase Format).
All the files remain accessabe through the Foxpro application (ie. I am sure that data corruption is not the problem).
Any suggestions are most welcome.

Foxpro files are not quite standard DBF. I tried the same years ago and got the same message.
I would export them to ASCII and import them in AREV.
I never heard of a Foxpro bonding as long as I use AREV (since 1987!)
