Dear All,

I've read a lot of messages from other developers about the Chinese windows and learnt that 3.72 should work properly with the Chinese.

Recently I've migrated some applications from OI2.61 to an evaluation version of OI 3.7, I hope that the OI 3.7 should support the Simplified Chinese. However, when I typed the same Chinese character on the OI 3.7 under a Win 3.2 Simplified Chinese Windows system, the same display error occurred. The Chinese character and other characters changed to the English text, sometimes the layout evem changed totally.

Could anyone tell me which version of OI should be 100% compatible with Simplified Chinese ?

I have never done it with OI but quite successfully in AREV 3.12. The problem you may have encountered is that those Chinese words whose double byte code set contain the special characters used in the LH file system, i.e. the @FM, @VM etc.. As long as I can avoid using those Chinese characters I was fine. I hope this helps…
