When accessing an .OV file wich is 0 bytes of length, OI cannot write to this file.

Copying the system to the local machine, and writing to .OV files is working perfectly.

Has anyone experienced this problem ?? Need help !!

Do you get an error when are unable to write to this file? If not, how can you tell the write failed? Is it just by checking the file?

I will setup a test here in house but if you could tell me what error you get, that would be a big help.

This is a situation I encountered with another customer in a Nov 3.2 system.

It brought up mention of a ZERO byte patch or NLM, although I'm not sure of the exact name. Does that ring a bell with anyone else? I'll poke around on Novell's site a bit to see if I can find it.
