Thru an AREV program, can I do table maintenance?

In searching this discussion area, I've found out about the Developer Series Volume 5 file that contains the SIZELOCK program (amoung other things). I've already done some initial testing with the SIZELOCK program. With that I'm looking at it with the eye towards creating a routine to go thru a set of tables and making sure that the Sizelock is set to zero (0). What I'm wondering is, is there any way to do other things from a program that would normally be only done thru DUMP. Things like Compress out Free Frames (I could use the information from the VERIFYLH process to figure out which tables need to be compressed).

Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find the structure of the Header section of a table? The same area that the Sizelock is in. Since I've got the source code for the SIZELOCK program, I assume that I should be able to use that as a template to look at other values within the header. I just need to know where to look for certain things.

The only thing that I've seen so far for adjusting the data between the .LK and .OV files is to run several SELECT statements against the table after the sizelock has been set to zero (0). I know about REMAKETABLE and how to change the Framesize on a table. Is there any other way than a Select statement to rebalance the .LK and .OV files?

Thank you for your time,

There was aTB on it (you might want to check out the SYSKNOWLEDGE download from our Web Site - it may have it) and I know that REVMEDIA FKB docs it. VERIFYLH_SUB can be called directly as well…

FIX_LH seems to compress and reset the free frame list when passed with a C option, so I suppose you could just fix a single group to allow processing.
