OI & Remote Desktop Client connection problems (OpenInsight 32-bit Specific)

Hi, my client is running OI4.1.3 on a Microsoft Server 2003 OS. The users are connnecting via RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) and their machines are running Windows XP. When they run a report in the OI application requiring a lot of processing the following message apears: "Because of a protocol error, this session will be terminated. Please try connecting to the remote computer again."
Is this an OpenInsight problem or the settings on the RDP client/server. Also should I be running the NT service even though this is a terminal services setup?
Thanks

Sedick,
I don't think I've seen that error before but I would definitely recommend installing the Revelation Service.
Are you using the Terminal Server machine as the application server as well? Generally, we recommend keeping these separate. This will put a lot less load on the Terminal Server which is already being taxed by having to manage multiple connections.

Hi Don,
The application and terminal services are running from the same server, which does have quite a high load capacity. One of the users is running the RDP client on a powerful Windows 2000 machine, and doesn't have the same problem. May just be a case of upping the RAM and processor on the other user's XP machines and/or comparing the user's RDP client versions and settings. Will also try setting up separate servers to reduce the load and loading the Network service.
Keep you posted
Many Thanks
