Getting the 'latest/greatest' to user desktop (OpenInsight Specific)

Under ARev we could make changes to window, menus and code and then have the user call 'template.flush' to clear their cached images of window, menus, and code so that they would get the 'latest/greatest' from the network. What is the equivelent function in OI. The only way to get the updated network versions seem to be 'logout/login'.
TIA

Owing to the all-pervasive nature of Open Insight's internal object caching facility, we advise all users to switch off, then leave town (and or the country) for a couple of days.
The system is usually updated by the time they get back. This explains Andrew McAuley's frequent overseas sorties. Carl's usually at home rebooting the server again.

I hope I only detect a bit of sarcasm(!!!), but it sounds like a exit/restart of OI's the only to go. Thanks

OI still has purge.cache(), so perhaps that will work.
