I have a 15 user Novell installation. I have a full development system installed with 3 SDP (5 users each runtime lans).

When I want to make changes on the system, I have all users logoff the network. I then copy OENGINE.DEV (copy of the development OENGINE.EXE before bumps) over the 15 user OENGINE.EXE.

My results are unpredictable with messages returning like:

RTP27 no source

error loading REV_LOADREC SYS100

swap_database error

What is the correct way to do this?!?

Thanks

Art,

That approach should work, we do it all the time. Is the development engine the same version as the runtime engine?

Yes they are the same.

Actually the C:/ drive works fine.

The problems occur when using the f:/ network drive.

Thanks

Art,

As a thought, I suppose your not mapping F: directly to the OI directory? That is you cannot map root - must be like F:\OIRun.

Second, OI doesnt like long names in path.
