For reasons unclear even to myself, I wrote a Chess program in R/Basic. I wrote it for Rev G, but an Arev port should be really easy if anybody wants to do it. I'm making it freeware in case anybody wants to have fun with it or can derive any benefit from it (R/Basic programming techniques, etc..)

I've put in in three places:

1. It's available via anonymous FTP at:

   ftp.assist.org/pub/stuff/revch.zip.

2. I just posted it to comp.databases.revelation.

3. I just uploaded it to the Revelation forum in Compuserve.

I think we can now safely claim that Rev G is the world's strongest

chessplaying PC database….
