Accessing Revelation Files from OpenInsight (OpenInsight 32-bit Specific)

I replaced the Revelation Data Files in the working Revelation directory with more current data and after the update OpenInsight no longer sees the file in Data Manager. The files are accessable through Revelation 3.12 and records can be read, updated and deleted but no access from OpenInsight. I am doing some OpenInsight development and do not want to be using the live data. Do you have any suggestions as to why the newer versions of the same Revelation files are not accessable?

Are you transferring live data from the server to a local folder on your development machine? If so, are you including a REVPARAM file that perhaps has the ServerOnly=1 flag set?

I ran into the same thing. In the directory tree that has the duplicate files, do a search for REVPARAM and just delete them all. OI 7 won't let you access any files under a tree where the REVPARAM exists and the drivers don't match up (and using the NLM driver on my OI results in the machine rebooting to a black screen, so I use the Universal driver).
