FS107 Read Error, but file exists (AREV Specific)

Our Netware 4.11 server crashed while an AREV 3.12 application was running. When the system came back up, we are unable to open or read a particular file, there may be more files that are affected.
The problem is that a LISTFILES, and a LISTVOLUME, both show the data file, dictionary, and index, and all related DOS files exist, and belong to the user that is trying to open them.
Also, when indexing tries to run, on a dedicated indexer, we get an FS127 read error on the !SYSKNOWLEDGE table. This is a Group Format Error in group 2. I have tried to fix the table with DUMPLH but no dice. Removing and Rebuilding the index returns an error as well, I think FS107.
Unfortunately, there is no recent backup of the system since the site's network administrator left.
Any suggestions on how I might repair certain files. Or perhaps a list of specific files I might try restoring from a 3 month old backup?

George,
You can't fix a GFE in a bang file, you need to
rebuild the index. If you can't rebuild it with
the file that is currently attached you have a
few options.
1) Remove and rebuild the index from scratch (if
necessary you should do this maually as spelled out
in TB 56 which is available in the AREV knowledge
base)
2) restore the !TABLE file from your backup (Remember
that you need both rev12345.lk and rev12345.ov) and
do an immediate rebuild of the index.
