HELP PLEASE!

This problem is really bothering me. I'm running short on time to fix it too!!

I have created a few reports for my OI application with Revelation Reporter. While I'm in OI the reports run nicely, but once I start my application and try to run the reports, Reporter chrashes on me with a message saying that Reporter performed an illegal operation and that Reporter collides with RT.DLL…

What could be the problem? I'm running OI 3.7.2 on Win 95 / Win 98 and Win NT4 and get the same problem regardless on what environment I'm running on.

Please help me with this… Is there a newer version available of either Reporter or any of the dll's that go with it that I can download and try or any other solution???

Anders,

Have you searched the lists to see if others have had the same problem? If you do a search on "RT.DLL" from SiteSearch (bottom item in navigation bar at left or http://www.revelation.com/search.nsf/$SearchForm?SearchSite) you'll find several postings which mentions GPF in RT.DLL.

Unnskyld hvis du allerede har gjort dette. Godt nytt år! Når du har funnet ut av feilen…

Anders,

Make sure you have performed the 'Client Install' on each workstation running OpenInsight. This is a general primary remedy with .dll OpenInsight errors.

The problem in more detail:

I start Open Insight and develop my application, start Reporter and create the report, testrun it and everything works fine.

On the same machine, I start my application and log in to that. Now when I test the report I receive the error message stated before…

I have tried the Client Install but that will not let me choose where to put any of the files…

   Anders
