There is a work around for this problem. You can either run the DOS login.exe or map a drive through DOS instead of using the windows versions of these commands. The issue is being worked on by Novell. When there is a solution I will make sure to post it.

Well, you definitely shouldn't go to 2.5, especially since people are screaming about the problems. I've been having good luck with 3.01, so you might want to consider jumping to that.
The problem is how Novell virtualizes the drives and how ARev works on these drives. Various versions of operating systems and clients require you to log on with these 'private' sessions. I'm not sure what Novell does that causes these issues, but historically it seems to happen every other version.
