I am running AREV 3.02 on Windows 2000 server.

I created the shortcut on Windows 98 client with the following command on the batch file : AREV /X /M4096

and it ran ok.

However, this shortcut would not run on a Windows 2000 client and I got the following error message

Unable to access Linear Hash files

Error=FS1019

Unable to open boot media map.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks.

Try this from a CMD prompt and a COMMAND prompt.

Go to your revboot directory and type

LHIPXTSR /P

AREV /X /M4096

and see if you get the same error. That will remove the shortcut as the culprit.

Odds are it's something with the network client set-up, frame types usually.
