Searched this discussion group and the knowledge base, but couldn't find this addressed.

The IT group here is planning on converting our Win2K network to "Active Directory". They wanted to know if there are any implications with regard to AREV 3.12 and the 2K LH Service on these servers.

I suspect that there is not any issue with this, just from the nature of what will be happening, but I wanted to toss this out to the group in case someone has gone through this already.

My guess is that, if all the various permissions are migrated properly, AREV shouldn't care at all if the network uses Active Directory or (whatever it's predecessor was called).

I'd appreciate any information you might provide.

We have an Active Directory server here on one of out test networks and we have never run into a problem running Arev or OI on it. This includes locally or across the network.

Should work fine.
