Logon Banner (OpenInsight 32-bit Specific)

If I delete this file it displays a default banner when starting, so I have to create a very small image, which looks a little wierd displaying in the middle of the screen.
Surely this should not display if turned OFF.
It has been around for years now, certainly the last 6 years, and about time it was fixed…. please…. or any suggestions to properly hide this nuisance.

I agree that it is a nuisance but I don't think it is a bug. At least I have never understood that "No Application Logon Banner" was supposed to mean "No Splash Screen of Any Kind" but rather "No Splash Screen Specific to This Application."
Another "nuisance" related to the application logon banner is that it displays only as long as it takes for OpenInsight to load. In some cases this is so quick that no one gets to see the wonderful work we put into our splash screens .
We are working around this by using a small program we wrote in C that loads OpenInsight asynchronously and displays our own splash screen for a set amount of time we specify. The default OI splash screen is hidden behind our splash screen so the users never see it. Since OI is loading asynchronously it is fully loaded by the time our splash screen takes itself down. Granted, this doesn't help you if you want no splash screen whatsoever. My guess is that you are using an OI window to display your splash screen or equivalent.
