Received Fatal Error Reading FS466; Quickdex.MFS; RTP57;
We are on Novell Network. Message only comes up on one PC.
All other PC's seem to be working normally.
Message received at printing request. Printer is plugged in and on line. Then PC locks up. Only way to get out is to shut down computer.
So far this morning this computer is unusable. HELP!

Carol,
Are you using a networking product of some kind?
What are the differences between this computer and the computers that work properly?
Are you using Network Assistant, JetDirect, or rconsole?
Have you checked for Linear Hash errors?

Are you sure it's an FS466? That's a no server response error, and it should disply something. It's not the type of error to display program information like that.
If it is, it sounds like it could be something with how the TSR is loaded on this machine or the machine's general configuration. How does this machine differ from all other machines?

Make sure the TSR is being loaded correctly on that NEC machine. Compare with your other machines that work properly. If you have the NLM installation guide, you might want to look at increasing the /c:parameter for the TSR and increasing the /m:parameter on the server. Check your frame type on that machine as well, and make sure it is NOT set to auto. Also, check to make sure the TSR is loading before the program with the /p:parameter.
