Hello,

Can someone illustrate how to display what indexes are being rebuilt

in a custom routine? More to the point, putting the different names

of an index or tag if you please using MSG.

Thanks,

Scott

Don't think it's possible since the source to the index building / rebuilding routines is available (which is where you'd have to go). It doesn't pass a call to the TCL or anything like that. It's all done internally sooooo, I'm afraind you're SOL. Maybe someone else knows different, though.

You say this is a custom routine, which means you have the source or it's something you wrote? If so, then just make a MSG call or status line update displaying the current indexed file. If you call index.flush() without passing a file name then there is no way to intercept the call and display the name.
