I am thinking about purchasing the Revelation Windows 2000 Service. For awhile now I have been running AREV using the Revelation NLM upgrade. Problems I am having while in a windows environment have to do with sharing of files. As things stand now, two people can access the same file at the same time and the last person to save has their changes made. I am seriously thinking of upgrading the network computers to use Windows 2000 software and wanted to know if by installing the Revelation Windows 2000 Service, would this sharing problem go away? Also any tips about installation and licenses would be helpful. Thanks to anyone who can answer this question.

Your posting has slightly confused us. You are obviously NOT getting locking but you already have the NLM.
Could you confirm that your server is Novell? Please go to TCL and type WHO. What is the vendor? What is the Maximum user count? We suspect it will be zero. It is not enough just to install the NLM you also need to apply a LanPack to increase the concurrent user count.
There is no reason to go to the Win2K service unless your server is NT/Win2K. Locking is possible on a Novell system if correctly configured.
