While attempting a system update to three users from a single user Lanpack the following error message occurs: V9 - variable not assigned a value, too many levels etc, the TCL window will not display. Any idea of the reasons or corrective measures required???

You sure that's V9? V9 is countrow, that's why, and it seems like a strange program to break.

What's the version number, as reported by the WHO screen?

Aarron,

I am endeavouring to update the no of users from 2 to 3 on an Arev 3.12 system. The actual messageis as follows: V9 Line 1, variable has not been assigned a value, zero used

Line 1 V9 broke because a runtime error was encountered.

Press ESC to leave the debugger. Typing END at this point generates the message R18.1 Too many levels of TCL you are limited to 9 levels The TCL window will not display OK, the only exit at this point is a CTRL-BREAK and the OFF at the !.

Hope that this might shed a little light in the darkness.

Kindest Regards
